SESCO is proud to announce that we now represent CREE in Georgia.
CREE is one of the world's premier manufacturers of LEDs and LED lighting and is now represented by SESCO in Tennessee, Georgia and south Florida

Jim Bethea is now the new General Manager of SESCO Jacksonville.
On 3 December 2011, SESCO’s leadership unanimously decided that he was the perfect candidate to succeed Gary Spradley, who was SESCO Jacksonville’s General Manager for ten years and is now functioning as SESCO’s first VP of Sales.
In his years prior to joining the SESCO Family, Bethea enjoyed a successful career working as a sales rep for a number of different lighting sales agencies in Dallas, TX, Charlotte, NC, and finally Jacksonville, FL, which helped prime him for joining the SESCO Jacksonville team in 1993. Since then, Bethea has dedicated nearly two decades of hard work to SESCO as first a Quotations Specialist and then as Operations/Quotations Manager. Given his laudable credentials, SESCO naturally expects that Bethea can and will bring a tremendous wealth of experience and knowledge to his new position, and that he will excel as the latest leader of one of SESCO’s most successful sales operations.
Bethea is married to his wife of 21 years and has two daughters, both of whom are in college. In his time away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and fishing.
From all of SESCO: We are proud of you and your accomplishments, Jim, and we know that you will continue to make us proud as SESCO Jacksonville’s new General Manager. Good luck and KSA!

On 3 December 2011, SESCO appointed Gary Spradley as its very first VP of Sales.
With a B.S. in Business Management from Florida State University and over three decades of mixed work experience as an electrician, electrical distributor, and outside lighting salesman, Spradley has been an invaluable member of the SESCO family since 1986 when he was hired as an outside salesman for SESCO Jacksonville. In 2001, Spradley was handpicked by the president of the company (Marshall Graham) to become SESCO Jacksonville’s General Manager and, for the next ten years, he worked tirelessly to increase SESCO’s market share throughout his office’s territory. During his time as SESCO Jacksonville’s General Manager, Spradley succeeded in making it one of SESCO’s top three highest-grossing sales operations.
Just entering what everyone at SESCO is sure will be the prime of his career, Spradley welcomes the challenge of taking on a position with SESCO that is not only new to him, but to the company. For the time being, he will continue to work out of the SESCO Jacksonville office in his new capacity as VP of Sales, but all management responsibilities have been taken over by Jim Bethea, the office’s former Operations and Quotations Manager. Divorced for a few years now, Spradley is the proud father of one and grandfather of two. When he is not busy with work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Congratulations from all of us in SESCOLand, Gary!
May you enjoy much success in this new phase of your already well-esteemed career.

We are pleased to announce the addition of Marc Conway to the SESCO management team.
Marc joined SESCO on October first as our VP of Operations. While we are proud of the level of operational proficiency the company has achieved, there is a great deal more we can accomplish to become “best in class.” Marc’s extensive experience with both a lighting agency and a manufacturer make him uniquely qualified to help us achieve a new level of operational effectiveness.
Marc spent the last twelve years as President/CEO of The Lighting Alliance, Acuity Brands’ sales agency located in Dallas, Texas. The Lighting Alliance was named Acuity’s top performing sales agency in a major metropolitan area six of the past seven years. The agency was also considered by Acuity to be their model of “operational excellence.” In 2010 Marc sold the agency, and he and his wife returned home to Atlanta. Prior to founding The Lighting Alliance, Marc spent twenty eight years with Lithonia/Acuity Brands in a variety of sales and marketing roles. His last position with Acuity was as the VP of Corporate Marketing Operations where he was responsible for the corporation’s quotations, customer service, and post-shipment functions.
